I got hooked on Harry Potter from the very beginning. Some of my friends at school weren't allowed to watch his movies. Their parents said it was witchcraft and magic, but my mom said those parents are being a little silly. She said when she grew up, she watched "Bewitched" and "I Dream Of Jeannie" and those were about magic. I liked all the creatures J.K. Rohling invented. They were different than anything I'd ever seen before. I didn't think there was enough magic, to be honest. I wudda liked to have seen the wizards do more zapping things, going invisible, or changing things to other stuff. I liked the little elf "Dobby". He was so cute. I wudda loved to have him as my pet.
I got to go to the midnight premiers whenever the movies came out. It was so much fun to get to stay out so late. A bunch of my friends would go together. Our parents had to take us cuz none of us drove. My mom went and watched the movie with me. We all put on our pajamas and took our cozy blankets and cuddled up. We had lots of popcorn and I even took my Harry Potter Jelly Beans. They are actualy called "boogers" with flavors like earwax, vomit, pickle, dirt, earthworm, and snot. That grossed my mom out. I wud say, "here, mom, wanna booger"? I thought they were cool.
When Daniel Ratcliff started the role of Harry, I thought he was cute. I have seen all of his movies so I have watched him grow up through the years. Last Thursday night I went to the premier of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows 2". I'd been waiting for it all year. I wanted to see how they put the last chapter to life. I was surprised to see how much Harry had grown up since the last movie. He was so cute and in the last scene, they had him looking older. I liked his look. I sat there and started imagining what he wud be like in real life. Wud he be a good boyfriend? Wud he be a romantic? Wud he know what to do? (giggle) Harry's a teenager in real life now. I'd like to write my own Harry Potter book. Maybe I wud title it "Harry and His Magic Wand". (giggle) Some nights I cud use a long stiff "wand". (giggle) I'd like to play with his wand! The saga wud continue.....
